So military control of blue states is normal now? Might be time to stand up against this 🤔

He might be able to get away with it in DC, which has always had second-rate status in America, with nobody watching out for them. He won’t be able to do that in states with hostile governors who are not only NOT afraid of him, they are itching for a fight.

See, this is the part where I expect the non-Americans to get very loud about us not doing anything.

And I expect they will receive silence from Americans.

Because as soon as that distance from DC to anywhere starts getting smaller, it will be anything but silent offline.

The problem is there’s no counter-leadership to the regime. Not even a grass roots level. People in general need someone to rally behind, even a small focused group, and on the left that doesn’t exist. The closest you might possibly have to have is the California Governor. Bernie isn’t it, AOC isn’t it.

The other problem is the American people have been conditioned to essentially “not have time nor the resources, financially” for it. Healthcare tied to employment, Right to work states, Cost of living, etc, etc, etc. This of course is by design. It’s hard for a nation to revolt if it means their family won’t be eating next week. It’s hard for the average person to justify it. Carry on and hope it works out in the end.

And it’s clearly evident right now that Republicans won’t play by the rules. Law, they’ve decided, doesn’t apply to them and they can simply ignore it. So you need a Leader who is willing to play the same game and currently no one on the Democrat side is willing to do that. They insist on continuing to use a system they believe in which is now painfully evident to be broken.

The US people need a Leader who is strong enough to rally millions behind them and is also willing to throw down.

Are you saying Americans will rise up once Trump imposes martial law in the next place?

Sure, sure. I’m certain thats the line Americans will not allow him to cross.

No. I’m saying that the distance makes it pretty damn difficult to do anything outside our own locale. And DC is small compared to his other targets.

DC has a population of ~700,000. Chicago has a population of ~2,700,00. LA has a population of ~3,800,000. NYC has a population of ~8,500,000.

And those are just the city boundaries, not the areas around them.

A guy threw a sandwich at a cop yesterday. He was out numbered. He probably knew he was going to get arrested. But he did it anyway. In the bigger cities? People have far less patience than he did.

You won’t hear squat about resistance efforts anywhere. OPSEC is a thing people are well aware of.

If millions of you start behaving the same in a passive aggressive way then people will have to react. Drive the speed limit. Everywhere and bottleneck the roads like the French farmers do Bottleneck parking lots. Bottleneck any area that has a lot of semi trucks. Take longer at intersections to go and stop for those yellows. Take longer to fill your car with gas. Take longer to unpack your groceries at the check out. Pedestrians take longer to cross and exit the crosswalks closer to the green. But things on Amazon and return them. Buy things at box stores and return them.

If millions of you do this roads and streets will back up and be congested. Maybe take a day a week and do it by something that’s important to MAGA people. Pick politicians and get to the airport before that are due in. Strangle the roads for them. Make them wait and idle in frustration.

The problem with the US is that the people that want to stop this, mostly live in more concentrated cities and college towns.

The places that the red hats frequent are hours of driving from these places, and the few places they are concentrated, there are so few lefties that it’d be impossible to slow anything down. There are a 100 million of us, but we’re mostly concentrated along the coasts and urban centers.

If we could get our farmers to not worship the shitheads in charge, it would be a different situation.

Are you asking how to abolish encampments and prisons? Because Americans did so perfectly well on 2021-01-06. Why they don’t seem to do so for ICE says everything about the bigotry that Americans wish to persist.

Wait, what? What are you trying to compare there?

A whole bunch of criminals were pardoned or not even charged because the current regime implementing the concentration camps had sympathizers and pardoned them themselves.

Are you saying you won’t get pardoned for freeing legal migrants and tourists from illegal encampments even if the empire will pick another fascist?

Every day folks suffer in these death camps, is another day Americans show their complicity for dehumanization.

Literal Dictator shit happening here. This is worth paying attention to.

If Trump starts ordering the military to shoot you and your family I doubt you’d appreciate people saying “but what about the Epstein Files?”

The Epstein Files aren’t news. They aren’t going to change anyone’s opinion. They are the distraction here.

Of course he will. This is just a the lithmus test to see how far he can push the envelope and seeing what new laws need to be instituted or changed to get his desired outcome. If he doesn’t get much push back from DC, he’ll move on to a larger city, new state. Not New York or California, too big, too soon. But maybe something smaller like New Mexico, where you can add on the border as an issue. I’m not familiar with New Mexico any of their cities having immigration problems? You’re hardly ever hear anything about New Mexico, they must be pretty chill down there.

And I understand a DC provides certain specific powers that he doesn’t have in other states. They’ve already overturned a few of his decisions, but it doesn’t seem to slow him I’m down much anyway. So I got a feeling they’re only going to keep escalating.
