Weird choice calling him a populist. Am I missing something ?
What’s weird about it? Seems accurate to me in that he’s an anti-establishment candidate running on being on the side of the people against the elites.
I’m pretty sure that « populism » is a rethoric form that used some sophism that make its point believable. Not « anti-establishment ». But I could be mistaken

The US election cycle is so frustrating. It is 14 months away from the election and yet there are daily updates on what this guy buttered his toast with. Collins is probably gonna retire like the rest if them, and to be getting this much early coverage this guy clearly has some non-grassroots backing behind him.
