    I go to the bathroom with my eyes purposely half closed hoping I won’t get fully awake and I can fall asleep again quickly.

      Get some programmable RGB lights and switch them to red when going to the toilet. This helps avoiding triggering your M- and S-cones too much and your brain remains in a sleep-ready stage.
