The Center for Integrity in Forensic Sciences is calling on Texas authorities to prevent what they say is the wrongful execution of Robert Roberson. Roberson is scheduled to die on October 16.

The State of Texas is preparing to execute Robert Roberson next month. In 2002 Roberson was convicted of the shaken baby death of his two-year-old daughter, Nikki.

Last year, Roberson came within 90 minutes of being executed. But new analysis of medical evidence shows that Nikki died from an illness and not abuse.

The Center for Integrity in Forensic Sciences (CIFS) is calling on Texas authorities to prevent what they say is the wrongful execution of Roberson. He is scheduled to [be killed] on October 16.
