A convicted New York drug dealer whose federal prison sentence was commuted by President Donald Trump has been found guilty of violating the terms of his release after being arrested and charged in connection with several recent crimes.

Jonathan Braun now faces up to five years in prison when he’s sentenced Oct. 9.

The Long Island resident had been accused of menacing a hospital nurse and a fellow synagogue member on two separate incidents, as well as of groping his family’s nanny and evading bridge tolls.

    Why are you doing this when it’s legal in both Canada and a bunch of US states?

    Because regardless of selective legality, there’s still taxes, registration, regulation, and other barriers to profit. I know tons of people that hate store-bought weed and continue to buy from their old dealers. Cheaper, their strain, and no paper trail. It’s still illegal at the US federal level so we can’t know if a current regime will suddenly make it a national crisis and bring a crackdown

      Except, in those legal states, they’ve stopped cracking down on grow ops, so you still don’t need to risk an international charge just for weed. Buy local!
