    I wonder if foil pans work like those foil emergency blankets and reflect heat back, and that’s why she likes it?

    Or just cat being a cat. 50/50.

      The weird thing about foil blankets and foil in general is that it’s cold & uncomfortable to the touch. Always seems counterintuitive to me that it would provide warmth, but who am I to not trust science.

        it’s like how you can feel the heat of the sun despite the air being cold.
        heat radiating from your body reflects against the foil and hits you again, whereas if you touch the foil the heat in your fingers goes into the material directly.

      This one seems to be fully cooked (with some burned spots) on top and raw on the underside, so I’m not sure what happened with OP’s recipe.

    When it doesn’t smell familiar it becomes useless to them, so they usually seek the comfort of cardboard, but aluminum tracks too. I’ve also seen them go for toilet seat covers.
