Interesting, didn’t read it quite the same way. Generally I do think it’s a warning to not try to apply the same solution to other problems, but the guy appears to have good intentions and so this feels to me like more of a gentle reminder rather than a “boo you suck for trying to help people”.
If he was shoving triangles down their throats then I’d be more on your side, but I see it as a person who got help and wants to share that help with other.
Just because some therapy works for you, doesn’t mean the same therapy will work for others.

I think he’s trying to tell other people that they will be helped by the thing that helped him
