Mine is a bit niche. Male anti hero protagonist revenge movies. Usually takes place in england. Always has a heavy criminal element, a good bit of violence and the lead usually dies in the end. Recent favorites include “Bull” “Avengment” and “Villan”. Not sure if this specific type of movie is a genre or not but there’s plenty of them.
I’m not sure if that counts, but have you seen chrono crimes or time crimes? No idea why it has two names but i haven’t met anyone who saw that movie and i genuinely thinks it’s a great mindfucky twisty movie.
Oh, yeah, I saw it as Timecrimes, I think. There’s a couple of good time travel films which require the occasional head scratch. Primer’s one of my favourites.
Primer is my favourite movie that i’m still not sure i understand. I heard in a podcast that there is a really interesting timecrimes cut in chronological order. I kinda wanna see that.
