A Chicago federal judge on Friday demanded that CBP commander and federal escalation impresario Greg Bovino appear next week in her courtroom after he was accused of openly violating one of her orders.
See when you said “hauled” I pictured marshals arresting him and bringing him to court. He ain’t been hauled at all. I wouldn’t be surprised if he personally refused to show.
I hope that if he doesn’t show, then he would get physically dragged into court in the same manner his department’s agents dragged a blind non-violent protestor in Portland who wasn’t even in their way.

The Trump administration claims that the children of immigrants who are born here only inherit their parent’s legal status rather than becoming citizens. And they claim they can revoke legal status at any time, even for those who become citizens. Since everyone in the country has ancestors who weren’t citizens, the combination of these two ideas would mean that anyone could be deported.
Well, that and anything is possible when you can deny do process. The next administration could round up everyone from the previous administration and deport them to Atlantis. Hope they’re good swimmers.

Bullshit. Hold him until he records a statement identifying who in the chain of command ordered him to use teargas on peaceful protesters. If he refuses, or says no one ordered him to, turn him over to prosecutors to seek an indictment for multiple counts of assault. One for each person in the crowd. And if this was the incident where they teargassed a grade school, make it assault on a child.
I’m sure there’s some kind of enhancements like abuse of office, deprivation of rights under color of law, stuff like that. Throw the book at him.
