Where does that name come from?
Pepper was named by my mother-in-law. The cat was black and peppercorns are black.
Ludo was named for the big scary beast in the movie Labyrinth. He was a shelter dog and was very afraid of doors. In the movie, Ludo was afraid. That’s how the dog got his name.
Awww, I hope he’s not afraid of doors anymore, but at least he’s got Pepper to protect him.
It took a month for him to get over his fears of doors. Now he wanders in and out of them without issues. Which is good. He was 65 pounds back then and I had to pick him up for every door. Now he is a comfortable 85 pounds and I don’t think I could pull that off any more.
It’s amazing how completely unaware of Pepper he is.
It’s a tree which produces little berries that can be dried and used to season food and such
