    Seeing as the dachshund was bred in the 1600s, I don’t think Greek mythology would have included it. It would be like saying the trojan war might have had muskets because the Iliad doesn’t say they didn’t have them.

          it reminds me of my first days here - for some reason I was rolling my eyes reading the comments of every other post, then things gradually got better.

      if we’re gonna be smartasses in this comment section, the proper spelling is Dachshund. “Dachs” is German for badger, “Hund” is German for, well, dog.
