Trackballs have ruined trackpad a for me.
Look at a Charybdis from bastardkb. Got a trackball built into the keyboard.

And it looks 3D printed?
The hardware is open source, but yes, it is 3D printed.
180€ is like a day or two of work. It is a fair price in my opinion.
