I entered Experian into my calendar.

But I did NOT enter that weird emoji gibberish: dead roses, coffin, skull, cute puppies, happy faces, circus? What the heck is this

Gmail has had a problem for a while where people can send you spam calendar invites and they’ll automatically get added to your calendar.

Oh this is very bad indeed. It seems you’ve been targeted - this is a threat from some pretty bad dudes. The first part is code for their organization…then it says they’re first gonna wilt (kill) that puppy you love, and then it says you better enjoy living that circus life because next comes the grave. Also they will move into your house and celebrate. Wow man, please be safe…

Spam bots have been fucking with my Calendar for years. Google allowing other people to add things to your calendar is just plain stupid.

This just looks like you might have done that with your ass tho. The spam bot entries are usually actual ads for shit like drugs or porn.

i would guess you either left the interface open after you made the initial entry and butt-created the second… Or maybe an object overflow… some kind of error on generating the first entry got borked into a second entry

    e. did you paste the string or just type it?

Yes but they are fully grown and they live 2000 miles away from me. They are a lot more tech savvy than I am though and someone else commented here that Google has a functionality in which people can send calendar entries to other people’s calendars.

Maybe my hilarious playful brilliant kids did that.

I am a minimalist in everything I do and I guarantee I do not subscribe to anything unless I keep an excel spreadsheet on it.

My only guess as to what this was, maybe I fell asleep and my skin was mashing up against the screen and happened to click a bunch of random emojis

Yes that seems most likely but the choice of characters doesn’t look like the result of a pocket dial because those emojis are nowhere near each other in the list of selections, and they are not emojis that I ever use.

this is a screenshot from the bottom of my phones calendar menu: as you can see, it has a subscription menu. i don’t use that feature though.
