Alarm spread through California agricultural centers Tuesday as panicked workers reported that federal immigration authorities were showing up at farm fields and packinghouses from the Central Coast to the San Joaquin Valley.
Works great for rich af factory farms that can afford to float and maybe pay a lil wages for a while, while all the small and medium competition goes under and has to sell their land.
Even the “immigration crackdown” is about making the rich richer.
I remember them raiding the smaller farms back in the 80s. The owners struggle to continue to make any type of profit and sell out to the bigger corps. Then in a few years they are back to employing these so call immigrants. I believe this is all just class warfare.
