“One square mile (2.5 square kilometers) of the city’s more-than-500 square mile area were set to be off-limits between 8pm and 6am for everyone apart from residents, journalists and emergency services, she added.”

"Police arrested 25 people on suspicion of violating the curfew as of Tuesday evening, the Los Angeles Times reported, citing an LAPD spokesperson.
The number of arrests was likely to rise as law enforcement worked to remove the remaining protesters from the area, the newspaper said."

“Overnight Monday 23 businesses were looted, police said, adding that more than 500 people had been arrested over recent days.”
Every day another neighborhood resident is successfully kidnapped is a day closer to Trump having a stranglehold on your city.
The bigger picture is one of attrition. First they come for the migrant workers, and if you don’t stand by them it’s only a matter of time before they come for you.
You’re acting like I said we shouldn’t protest or fight back while I’m literally just talking about the curfew. And I’m not even saying it’s 100% a good idea to have it in the first place, I’m just saying why I think it makes sense and how we can use it since ICE has been almost exclusively operating during the day to make it as obvious as possible. They have been and will continue to use our anger and fear against us and if we act on impulse we are doing exactly what they want us to do. These aren’t just random ICE raids in random communities, they are specifically targeted raids in blue states in specific communities in order to manufacture a crisis that they can “respond” to.
If anything, we need to protest more and resist more. We are way past the point where we should have a general strike. I’m just saying that if things get more violent on our side we are absolutely fucked.
