As opposed to the other genocide-supporter that’s also a fascist racist?

Primaries and the rest of the year are for voting for and supporting the best possible candidates. Elections are for playing damage control and voting for the least worst option.

Don’t let a lack of perfection be an excuse for choose Worse over Better.

No, you don’t vote for genocide-supporters period. I am appalled that is a controversial opinion.

Supporting a genocide is not “Lack of perfection”. It’s an abundance of evil

In the real world, people will vote in their own self interest. If you’re queer, trans, have dark skin, are female, or are an ally to those groups, not voting for Biden is functionally equivalent to voting for the orange turd who will support and encourage crimes against them.

The harm reduction argument doesn’t work if for the past 4 years individual rights have constantly deteriorated.

Which is, in a large part, due to the fallout from actions taken by the Trump administration.

So if he doesn’t have the magic ability to make everyone’s lives better in an instant, he’s useless?

The entire point of our system is that we don’t have a singular person with absolute power. The reason the Trump administration was able to take the actions it did wasn’t due to just Trump. It was also due to actions taken by congress and the judiciary.

This one office can only do so much, you need to vote in that election in addition to every other election you’re able to. And it won’t be a quick turnaround. Expecting magic to happen two seconds after stepping out of the voting booth once every four years is naive and getting petulant when it doesn’t happen is dangerous.

Man, this is an immature take. The republican stacked judiciary has been the biggest issue for reducing harm in The US.

Do we like the support of the Israelis actions, absolutely not. But, when people tell you who they are, listen. Trump would be worse for everyone except his chosen few and the oligarchs. He has said as much.

If we had a more truly left option that would not put so many others at risk, I think we’d see a massive shift. That is our work during the next 4 years.

We just don’t have a good viable option this year…

Why would that worry you? What action should they take that would make you less worried?
