Yeah, they were pretty monstrous and hateful to Chelsea. Of course it’s only ever Republicans who do this, because it’s the party of terrible human beings.
The politicians didn’t, at least publicly. OP did include the qualifier “except scum like Rush” and that’s who immediately springs to mind when someone brings up Chelsea being trashed.
