My HOA gives us increasing fines if a piece of grass so much as TOUCHES the sidewalk. So it’s not my fault :( I would rather let it grow and have a ton of biodiversity but nooooo. Also I’m not joining the HOA or running for the board or any of that crap. I would love if someone came and planted some plants that were on the extinction list and the HOA couldn’t do anything about. That would make me so happy to stick it to them.
What is even the point of buying a home in a HOA? You’re getting fucked by the bank on the loan and then by random dickheads about your yard… Might as well get an apartment at that point and get some rest.
I think somebody should get some clay and some mycorhizally robust fertilizer and some seeds of protected/endangered species and make seed-bombs to be tossed in places people might not find them until they’re identifiable.
Maybe take geotagged photos once they’re illegal to remove. Make it so a timeline gets published any time they get rwmoved?
