yeh my parents hated that album. I love it still.
Killer Mike, I personally feel, is better than RATM, but I also really like hip hop in general (As well as Punk). KRS-One was spitting these facts since before RATM even hit the stage.
Give them a listen, you wont be disappointed, if you also dig hip hop.
For example, one song by Killer Mike is “Reagan”, and a sample lyric “I’m glad Reagan’s dead”
I feel like Rage Against the Machine taught me a lot about them…
