Thousands of federal workers have left the Department of Justice and resources have been reallocated to align with Trump’s agenda, under Pam Bondi’s leadership
Bondi’s defensive and combative attitude during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday, in which she repeatedly refused to answer Democrats’ questions, has left many concerned about the future of the department.
Under Bondi’s leadership, more than 4,500 Justice Department employees have left, task forces dedicated to probing criminal activity have been disbanded, resources have been re-allocated to support Trump’s targeting of political opponents and more.
But when questioned about her actions, such as closing a probe into Trump’s border czar Tom Homan and the forced resignation of a U.S. attorney in Virginia for refusing to indict Trump’s longtime opponent James Comey, Bondi refused to explain.
Welp, anyone that they were originally going after is just wiping their foreheads in relief. Once this shitshow is over, they’ve long have gotten the time to cover whatever it is that they’re doing, making it even harder to pin anyone down for what they did.
As far as recovering, yeah that’s a good joke. We can forget about recovering, we’d need a big reset.
Whichever democrat wins won’t get us utopia by the midterms and everyone will give up on them and let republicans take the house and Senate.
As is tradition.
That won’t even matter if the fat-ass-in-chief there is going to just outright claim the mid-terms was rigged too. Wasn’t too long ago he called the past couple elections rigged. Republicans are now going to see everything as rigged, regardless if it is mid-terms or general.
