      You think prior to 2016 nepotism hasn’t been an issue in US politics?

      And someone agree with that and upvoted it?

      Because I said:

      I’m not gonna list a lot of examples, but it feels like nepotism being big in politics was accepted fact decades ago…

      Now there’s an autocorrect error in there, but I meant the last couple decades.

      I mean, for fucks sake you think GW Bush became president on his own merits?

        No, nepotism has definitely been a thing. Your original text made it seem like there’s been a long history of the Democrats having spouses (a singular instance for either party) or a VP (less concerning) being the candidate. It also made it seem like you considered it nepotism. VPs aren’t nepotism.
