The world, yes. Germany, probably not. As the citizens got increasingly fed up with their governments antics, there would have been revolts and protests. These are Germans, not Americans, they hadn’t been propagandized into submission beforehand.

You mean WW2? I don’t know if US propaganda covers this, but Europe was fighting the Nazis for like a year or two before the US entered. As I recall, you guys were staying out of it, with an isolationist stance, until you were attacked by the Japanese.

Swede here, if it’s something minor I can get an appointment within a few days, if it’s more major there’s some open clinics I can turn to, but if I have to see a professional I have to get in a months-long line.

Yeah, a civil war is the good outcome if this whole debacle.

Other countries will get involved if either the US starts to invade other nations, or if the US army magically disappears overnight.

PirateSoftware (Thor) is a streamer and a game developer who is a narcissistic asshole. He’s been very against the SKG petition since I think the start since if it passed he would be forced to keep supporting his games once they fail (it’s happened before) and made a video trying to torpedo the petition some months ago by spreading disinformation that’s easily disproven with a halfway decent level of reading comprehension. Recently the guy who runs the SKG petition announced that Piratesoftware was successful, which caused a lot of big streamers and Youtubers to catch on and call PirateSofware out while endorsing SKG, including MoistCritikal. Since then the number of signings have skyrocketed.

That’s because they keep trying to push AI into the foreground, not the background where it belongs

Putting AI stuff in the foreground is probably not the best idea, though developers should be allowed to use AI for grunt work like creating textures.

Good thing there’s no department monitoring that stuff any more.

Sadly I bought my PC before switching to Linux was on the agenda. And I don’t have the money to change to AMD.
