Not feeling good about spending four more years attempting to resist the noose to be honest.

I don’t even live in that shit hole country, but america makes me so sick, that it looks like a beautiful out.

Soon you can say “there was once a people called Palestinians” and “there once was a country called Ukraine”.

I’m more worried about dying of some completely treatable illness, either because our politicians pretend it’s not real or because I can’t afford the treatment. I’m also concerned about using all of my retirement savings to live, dying broke, and having nothing to leave to my kids, who will likely suffer the same fate.

Also think of the lost treatments we won’t discover.

The NIH is currently the largest health funder on earth. Kennedy will go there and stop any useful research and instead start his “raw milk” and anti-vaxx bullshit.

Then even if one day that bullshit is over with, we’ll have to spend our research dollars debunking kennedy’s flawed research he funded, instead of actually useful stuff.

I’m not kidding when I say this election might mean worldwide health research gets held back like 5-8 years.

He plans on putting brain worms guy in charge of national health.

We thought his sycophants were bad the first time around, this time we get the third string lineup.

In the short term, Russia will probably be pacified, because they got their guy in office. Long term that causes an escalation in the new Cold War going on. Ukraine is probably fucked - they probably can’t survive four years with diminished support.

Tensions with China will escalate quickly, since Trump promised to enact absolutely bonkers tariffs.

Palestine is probably fucked, since Trump seems to want Israel to escalate the conflict. Netanyahu seems quite pleased.

I’m not as doom and gloom about the environment though - economics will continue to force renewable energy. As we all know, money has a whole lot more power than Trump ever will. He can slow it down, but economics always wins.

The market can’t and wont fix climate change without government incentives. All other things, the market just eager for the brave president that’ll lift all these pesky regulations

War? Doubtful. Our upcoming president is putins bitch boy, so there isn’t going to be anyone major to war against us. There was only ever China or Russia that could cause the US a problem, and now they can just buy the country. No war needed.

Maybe not a war, that’s debatable. But trump openly denies climate change and will absolutely go in the wrong direction. So unless you’re an idiot who denies the reality of climate change, i can’t see an argument as to how those chances did not go up.

As soon as Russia finishes Ukraine, next in line is Poland, and with that, the whole Nato, which the orange cunt hates and wants to disband, or defund or leave.
