Now that billionaire Elon Musk has stepped away from his White House job as a “special government employee,” DOGE staffers he brought on board are exiting too – some not because they want to leave.

According to a report from the Washington Post’s Faiz Siddiqui, Hannah Natanson, Cat Zakrzewski, Alex Horton and Elizabeth Dwoskin, the influence of DOGE is waning and Cabinet heads are hiring back employees who were dismissed during the mass purge initiated under Donald Trump’s anti-government administration.

The Post is reporting, that Musk’s influence with Trump’s people has fallen apart since he and Trump have turned on each other with the billionaire going so far as to suggest there is information about the president in the Jeffrey Epstein files.

It’s a wake up call to me how much power there is for the wealthy. No other type of person outside of government could have done what he did.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again:

Imagine if this was a democrat presidency with a democrat controlled congress.

Understanding the conservative mind means accepting “my group is good. when my group does something, it’s good.” That’s it. Well, that and “whatever is good for me and mine right now is good”.

There’s no grand underlying theory or unifying thought. They’re just assholes

But they actively vote for things that aren’t good for them and theirs.

          They’re just assholes

          They’re just stupid assholes.

Or so propagandized that they are effectively brain damaged, my grandmother was raised by folks who were progressive Republicans and first voted in the 1800s for Theodore Roosevelt. She is still under the propagandized delusions that the modern Republican party is the same one her grand parents and great grandparents voted for.

Well, TR was a fan of eugenics, and a big believer that imperialist wars were good for a society. Those beliefs fit well with MAGA. But his absolute hatred towards corruption, and his protection of the environment, would get him expelled from the modern GOP.

          Haha. We wish don’t we.

Not the point I was making though. I’m saying if dems were doing what maga is doing now, Republicans would be in the streets with their assault rifles or something, the point is they wouldn’t stand for this if it were dems, they’re hypocrites.

But dems wouldn’t be doing anything like this, as we all know.

Why would dems ever do that when they can keep raking in lobbist money and illegally insider trade?

Then literally nothing would change in regards to oligarchy.

Musk has no problem scamming neo-liberals. Just look at spacex and the hyperloop.
