Oh wow, a child rapist thinks I’m nasty? I’ll get right on caring about that some other lifetime.

And this asshole is the fucking ambassador to Canada. This is what passes for diplomacy these days, folks. Insult the fuck out of your hosts.

And it’s not like it’s the Canadian government that is banning Canadians from travelling south or boycotting all nature of American products. It’s actual Canadians that have made those choices.

I’m sure Canadians think trump is nasty for raping women and children, being racist, stiffing contractors, and threatening the sovereignty of Canada. As an American, I say, keep it up Canada, don’t spend a drop of your money on anything American. The entire country needs to suffer the consequences of Republican stupidity before they get angry enough to riot in the streets to hold these fuckers accountable. Fuck trump, fuck musk, fuck thiel, fuck the entire trump cabinet, fuck the house and Senate GOP for jumping on the trump train to line their pockets, and fuck house and Senate Dems for their limp-dicked response to all of this because they want to stay in power to keep riding the donor money train.

For over 100 years we were the best of allies

It took weeks for him to throw all of that away.

You don’t declare “economic warfare” on your friends. You don’t threaten to annex them, tell them they’re not a viable country, tell them they’re destined to fall, and still expect friendship.

And it’s not just Trump to blame. The voters and the entire US government have allowed that behaviour and enabled him.

If they’re getting upset about our boycotts that just means boycott even harder. They said they don’t need us, now they can see what that’s like.

I miss Mexican blueberries. At some point in the last month all I can find are American blueberries so I’m going without.

I’ve also started buying a lot more used tech/tools off marketplace/kijiji/etc when I need something. If I can’t buy Canadian I can still support Canadians.

TIL they don’t have kijiji in the US. I assumed it was everywhere since it’s owned by google.

A website you post stuff to sell. Like Facebook Marketplace but you don’t need to sell your soul to use it.

Granted, the name was really fun to type on a keyboard

But the first 2 listings shown to me on the home page are $750 and $1250 puppies. This site looks like puppy mill paradise. Are you sure about the selling soul part? This looks gross.

No clue what it’ll show to the casual browser. I usually only ever search specifically for stuff. I also use an Android app called Ad Alerts and set up searches in it.

Yeah, you can post pets there. I don’t see any when I visit the site but they know me already. I only use it for tech and consoles. Not sure where else to buy/sell stuff locally that’s not Facebook.

If you pay attention, “Nasty” is very consistently his go to word for anyone who opposes or stands up to him.

Americans, it’s your country. If you want a fascist dictatorship, that’s your business. You want to deport innocent people, that’s your business. You want trade tarrifs, that’s your business. You want Canada to be the 51st state, that’s my business. I’ll show you just how nasty we can be.

As an American, very well said. Please don’t stop. We are going to hell in a handbasket, please dont join us. The grave our foreparents dug and one current generations keep on digging, it is entirely fair to spit on us in our grave and not be drug in.

Lol this has proven two things to me Canadians are as sensitive as people of the USA are gullible dumbfucks. Never change and pass the poutine.

It’s not that we’re sensitive. But if you know any Canadian history, what Americans laud as ‘manifest destiny’ has always been a threat to Canada. Hell it’s the reason Canada exists in the first place. So it’s not like Trump just pushed one of our buttons. Unknowingly, he pushed the button.

But that can not be. I have been assured, just a few weeks ago, that none of this is true. Canadians are still using as much American produce as before, even more so. Canadians are even buying more houses then before. Canadians are begging to become part of the US. Trump supporters have been really adamant about that.

    … Fuck that guy
