It's unclear when they will be in Austin at the Capitol, but the Democrats believe they've accomplished their mission and will push for Hill Country flooding relief to be a priority.

Not too familiar with the rest of the legislature rules but I would assume that if there is no quorum at the end of the session, the process starts over when a lot calls a new one
I hope so! NPR was suggesting it’s unlikely for the dems to avoid this ultimately, but I hope for the best. I’m in CA and really don’t want to see tit-for-tat disenfranchisement.

They can’t stop it forever. The main purpose of this was to spread awareness nationwide to put abbot on blast. But he has no shame.
