How would you actually defeat the duck?
I don’t think that’s a duck- ducks tend to quack, not honk! Although neither ducks nor geese tend to have multiple re-growing heads…

You have to cauterize the head holes with a torch.

Evidently, you have to use a flaming sword like Hercules and cauterize the neck preventing regrowth.

I knew someone would come back with that. But the goose has a round body. When the heads are chopped off, they come back full size, so we can assume the feet would, too. I think it would be different.

The hydra’s blood is incredibly poisonous, though. Hope the… goblins? Orcs?.. figured that one out.
So is cayenne, though. For someone with a high enough CON score, poisonous blood might as well be a seasoning.
