The Trump administration is asking the Supreme Court Thursday to let the president fire a member of the Federal Trade Commission, the latest in a string of emergency petitions over the president’s removal power.

The fight over the president’s power to fire could prompt the court to consider overturning a 90-year-old Supreme Court decision known as Humphrey’s Executor. In that case from 1935, the court unanimously held that presidents cannot fire independent board members without cause.

    The rich have enough class consciousness to not fuck with other rich folk and then use their money to segregate them from as much of the public they can. They live mostly in bubbles and are surrounded by mostly cowards. No one’s catching Alito at a waffle house.

      They’ve gotta walk from a form of transport into / out of buildings at some point.

      Or into / out of wherever they live.

      Or on / off planes.

        They also go to restaurants and use bathrooms. With element of surprise it just takes a sturdy pen to the jugular, really surprised we aren’t seeing some of this. I guess there are so many short people they are good at redirecting blame.
