There’s so, so many people out there who can’t handle any shades of grey. They need the good people, the bad people and nobody else or in between.
And they’ve completely overwhelmed all discussion in the fediverse.
I’m blown away by these vote counts bc they represent my dozens of real life conversations, whereas Lemmy usually doesn’t do that.
A lot of people come here for a circlejerk. I’d guess a nuanced take they can’t argue with like OP’s makes them click away.
