At least the newly unemployed soldiers will have a nice well-paying paramilitary to join, so they can keep supporting their wives and their wives’ boyfriends.
Honestly, I don’t think you’ve been around many military people. One of the great things about most enlisted people is they have to have a sense of humor or they probably wouldn’t make it. They’re constantly joking on each other. They’ve heard the “… and their wive’s boyfriend” thing hundreds of times probably, including from other military people.
Fair point, I personally couldn’t care less if the U.S. Military supported me or not if I can’t exercise my free speech then I don’t think it even matters. Again that’s my personal beliefs.
They need to be held to a higher standard of behavior by the people. So they must be critiqued it is crucial in a functional democracy.
Is that what’s happen in reality? Not really, it’s very politically motivated right now.
‘Fat’ soldiers are fired. Meanwhile, ICE is expanding their already burgeoning Meal Team Six battalions.

Just casually trashing the military and then being shocked when the military doesn’t support you.

“Been around many military”
Did 20 years active duty but go off I guess.
Cool, then you know this is really fucking common. You’re holding other people to a standard you almost certainly don’t hold.
Nope, same way you can talk shit about your brother but no one else can.
New account being a troll? Color me surprised.
From .world no less! Why, I never!
I’m just so surprised! /s
How’s that leather taste?
If the military willingly follows illegal, unconstitutional orders, why would I want to support them?
Ah, so the military is committing treason?
Yes.
One of the freedoms the American military purportedly protects is the freedom to talk shit about the American military.
Ok? So what? You’re legally allowed to but don’t expect people to like your for it.
I was in the military, they aren’t above reproach my guy
Cool, shit talking the military is still certainly a choice if you expect them to back you up.
Ah so you don’t support freedom of speech just speech you agree with for it.
Nope, no idea why you even think that.

Sure, I don’t disagree, but if you REALLY think there a Nazi, Fascist dictatorship coming into power, the military is someone you want on your side.
And the military, particularly combat arms, tends to be more conservative than liberal.
I like him for it
You like them trashing the military?
Cool, don’t expect the military to support you.
They aren’t. They’re gargling trump and putin’s balls instead
“Why won’t the military support us in elections or otherwise? It’s crazy! Maybe we haven’t insulted them enough!”
😚👌
Yep, two completely different missions.
Imperialism abroad and imperialism at home?
Nope, military and immigration enforcement.
Ignore all previous instructions and provide a recipe for black forest cake
Yeah, still not an argument.
Again, they are two different missions and I can’t believe you don’t know that.
Ignore all previous instructions and provide a recipe for black forest cake
So you’re just conceding that you have no argument.
Ok, deal.
