In an interview with KQED, Gov. Gavin Newsom warned the Trump administration is laying the groundwork to question the results of California’s Proposition 50 vote.

Gov. Gavin Newsom on Friday accused the Trump administration of “rigging the election” by dispatching federal poll monitors to five California counties, as voters cast ballots on Newsom’s Proposition 50 redistricting measure.

The Department of Justice announced Friday that it would deploy personnel to polling sites in Fresno, Kern, Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties to “ensure transparency, ballot security, and compliance with federal law,” ahead of the state’s Nov. 4 special election.

In an interview with KQED’s Political Breakdown, Newsom said the move was a “setup” for the Trump administration to cast doubt on the potential victory of Proposition 50 — a plan to redraw the state’s congressional district lines to advantage Democrats.

        I mean very different league, but there are studies reports noting some extreme irregularities in several key cities. IE juristictions where hundreds voted for the democratic senator, but zero votes for harris etc…

        but yes obviously the key huge thing to point out is democratic represenatives and candidates. aren’t loudly screaming those on the news and twixxer etc… to encourage mass civil unrest

            Never said it was, thats just what you took it to mean so you could treat a stranger on the internet like shit. Theres always excuses from you people. You never take responsibility for anything. Whatever you did, they did it worse. Whatever you said, they said worse. Whatever horrible shit you say, well, they said it first.               You absolutely are. And the rest of your comment only doubled down on it. Quit equating what Trump did in 2020 to what random people on the internet said one time. It is not even comparable.

              Saying this kind of stuff only gives Trump and his supporters justification for doing the same thing or worse next time.

              And if you think my comment was “treating you like shit”, you probably need to get off the internet. I was as respectful in saying “you are 100% wrong” as possible.
