Frankly, the thing that scares me the most is that you can hear the soldiers in the audience loudly booing at residents of LA on behalf of Trump, when prompted by Trump. That’s disgusting behavior, and should get them all reprimanded or discharged.
While I don’t necessarily have the default unchallenged respect/reverence for the military that most people do, at the very least I expect them to act professionally and respectfully in their own country (since we know that’s often way too much to ask when they’re sent abroad). Fuck any solider who openly acts on their political views, and fuck every soldier that doesn’t refuse an illegal order. You volunteered to do this, so you better do it right.
They swore an oath to the constitution and not to the president. They should have been pan-faced. Then again honor does mean much these days.
If there’s a civil war, I have so many degrees, they’d have to make me an officer. Trust me, no one wants that.

In his deeply partisan speech at Fort Bragg, Trump made the baseless claim that the protests against immigration raids in LA are being led by paid “rioters bearing foreign flags with the aim of continuing a foreign invasion”.
And he’s using this wording very intentionally; he’s going to use this “foreign invasion” to justify martial law.
It’s Canadians trying to start a civil war, hoping to contain Trump’s thirst for mayhem within the us border, and he’s biting hook line sinker.
You know, if you happen to burn the white house down again, we’ll just look the other way. This bag of money? Ohh, it’s not a payment or a bribe. It’s a thank you gift. Giving people money/gifts after the fact is OK according to this administration.
At this point it’s probably littered with so many listening devices that burning it all down and rebuilding is the only way to make it secure again.

It’s happening too quickly, actually, these bozos do not have the patience nor the discipline, they are following the dictator playbook quite closely, but even putin took decades. If they keep pressing this hard, they are not going to get their fascist takeover, they are going to get a civil war, which is probably more useful to China and russia and will probably drag them and allies in.
Putin took decades, but Hitler only took a few months. By the time German lawmakers realized what was happening, the reichstag fire was already done, and the night of the long knives was happening. They’re not playing by Putin’s example. A lot of what Trump and Musk were doing was pulled straight out of Hitler’s playbook.

Trump is only part of the problem … an entire chorus of idiots surround him and enable everything he says … while at the same time an entire audience of people are willing to believe everything …
… and at the same time a vast throng of people everywhere just watching it all without saying a word or lifting a finger to do anything about it. I’m not saying they should violently revolt but at the very least, everyone should be out in the streets wanting to get their country back to what it was.
