Far-right influencer Mike Cernovich (who spawned the “Pizzagate” conspiracy theory) tweeted: “Ted Cruz and Mark Levin are walking Trump into impeachments and then prison. 2026 will be a blood bath.” MAGA podcaster Jack Posobiec likewise warned that “2026 will be worse if we don’t course-correct.”

My Spidey Sense tells me he’ll start a war in the next 12 months then get the Supreme Court to side with him on postponing elections during wartime, and then we’ll stay in a permanent state of war afterwards.No. A presidential election has never been postponed … EVER. There were elections even during the Civil War.
Trump can try this route to stay in office… but he will not be president and his wartime rule will only be as strong as the guards around him. He will become a domestic threat to the Constitution if he tries to stay in office unelected.

Never underestimate what the GQP will do to prevent anything resembling a fair election. They will purge voter registrations by the millions, gerrymander district maps to make them look like spider webs, and make registering and voting damn near impossible.

There a lot, like a mind-blowing amount, of various reasons the US would be impossible to occupy, especially by a domestic force.
Like even protests, if they start cracking down we can just spread out.
Stop making protest happen downtown, and spread them out in the suburbs all around the city.
Spread the cops too thin, they’ll be too scared to do anything. Especially if protesters have vest and rifles.

What? Is he trying to gaslight the fact that both of Georgia’s US Senators have been Democratic since 2020? One of whom was subject of intense media coverage for back-to-back runoff elections in 2020 and 2022 with the US Senate majority up for grabs?
Yeah, I looked into it, they are saying these two specific seats were held by Republicans for decades. I’ve seen reports of 30 and 40 years.

Just checked my local election results and it looks like a full sweep for the dems. :)

Any race where the parties were listed? Double digits in favor of the D. The only close race was the school board where party affiliations were specifically not listed for Reasons and you had to check the local party website to see who believed in democracy. And even that had the lone chud lose by about 5%.
My locals aren’t the most representative since we are pretty solidly blue, but the large numbers of libertarians in town tend to keep it a close race. Not so much this year.
